we are a homeschooling family with 5 boys who raise chickens ducks turkeys goats pigs bees dogs cats and bunnies. we live in the Adirondack Park 32 acres

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. My wife and I home schooled our children. Raising chickens is a wonderful experience for children. Our children and granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loved our chickens and made lap pets of the calmer and more gentle breeds. Glad you could join the flock! Wow that's a great mixture of animals that you have there and they sure must keep you very busy. Having five boys must be great help to you though, lots of extra hands there to help you.

The Adirondacks must be beautiful this time of year with the trees changing color. Five boys and all those animals must keep things pretty busy.
