Northern WI chicken chat

Ladysmith here. I have silkies, seramas, and a few new Japanese bantam chicks that hatched a week ago.

The serama are my favorites, The are tame, trusting, and quite unique for chickens.

Biggest problem-what to do with extras. There does not seem to be many people interested in what I have. Right now I have a trio of serama; one rooster and two hens-6 months old that need to find a new home. They are my culls, but are healthy and producing eggs.

I have 4 polish and one silkie. I also have 4 chicks that hached 2 weeks ago

Pelican lake WI
I've never heard of Pelican Lake; something to look up. In the last few weeks four of my serama hens have hatched chicks-the four Japanese bantam chicks I mentioned before and now four serama chicks. Serama are so small they only brood 4-6 eggs at a time. Even when it's their own eggs they can only cover a half dozen or less. OK with me-this way I don't have to worry about a population explosion-HA.
