I've always held a fascination for SCUBA diving, free diving, & spear fishing. Guess it comes from watching so much of Lloyd Bridges in Sea Hunt as a kida lot depends on the individual, Whites. fitness, exertion, water temps and excitement or nervous (panic) can use a lot of volume from the tank with out realizing it. I am 6' 2' 250 and a large tank usually lasts me about an hour until I hit the red zone in the cooler waters up here. had a dive in cancun and got nearly an hour and a quarter from a large tank, but that was warm water and drift diving on a shallow reef, so not a whole lot of effort. I know some of the petite ladies in the dive group I go with can get a lot longer than I can out of a large tank.
