Hello just a quick question. Couple days ago I noticed My RI Red rooster was limping.. Looked at his foot and he had a cut on his toe. Not sure he cut it.. Was not bleeding at the time. Today I noticed the toe was bleeding. I caught him to inspect injury again and the toe now looks like it is nearly severed. Called vet and they will not treat a chicken. I doctored up the injury cleaned it applied ointment and Bandaged.. That was a task lol.. Can he survive if the toe falls off? I dont want him suffering. TIA
