I will try getting more sunlight in their pens during winter, i was thinking of mixing few turmeric in their feed, does this sounds good? I read that fish keepers feed their yellow fishes turmeric to help them getting nice yellow color, i also read they give them yellow paprika.
Lets say my feeding plan will be like this:
1- Kelp meal mixed with their feed with 1.5% of total feed.
2- Turmeric or yellow paprika mixed also with their feed with only 0.5% of total feed.
3- Dry cat fish feed(once a week).
4- Peanuts(once a week).
5- Eggs(once a week). Also read it will raise the carotene in the birds body and help them getting more yellow.
6- Few grapes or bananas each week.
What do you guys think about this plan? I would like to hear any opinions or suggestions.
