The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Yes, it's New Years Eve down under. My day will consist of tidying as the family will be coming over tomorrow after we've taken the kids for a swim. Andrew is looking after a pool for a guy that only lives in NZ 3 months out of the year. He's not here yet so the deal was if Andrew cleaned up the pool we could use it. Due to the hot weather we are avoiding the beaches because both DS and I get an awful, itchy 'seabathers rash' from thimble jellyfish who love calm, warm water.

I've got one of our cockatiels going to their new home today. A lovely family are taking her home and she's perfect for little kids. Most are a bit cautious of younger ones but this little girl, now named Peaches, is just the cuddliest, sweetest, funniest little character who will even let Joseph give her a head tickle. I'm going to miss her!

Sounds like Peaches has a good home coming up! Enjoy the pool, as warm as you all have been that will be a treat.

Resolutions for the new year anyone?

DH and I decided we're going to work on just one in the coming year...a savings plan with a set goal. I don't do badly in the savings department but he never does so the thinking was if we did it together he might do better.

Good Morning Friends :hugs

Warm? Did someone say stay warm? Predicted maximum of 95F today :sick

sunflour the run is looking awesome!

N F C As I type it is Sunday morning on New Years Eve.

And, yet another birthday! Happy 9th birthday to our very special little man! If it was up to the local Vet, today would not be happening and we are so very grateful to still have our beautiful boy. Love you Syba! :love

I got matching gloves, scarf and hat set for Christmas that matches my coat and boots.

Nice!! I got a new coat but haven't worn it yet.

Happy birthday to those who are celebrating, other than that stay warm. :hugs:love

Trying to. A little easier today as it's "only" 20 or teens
