went yesterday and bought another 20 lbs of cracked pecans, found a lady on marketplace here in defuniak that was selling cracked pecans for $3,00 a lb, , haven't started picking them yet but they look nice, she said she had plenty more if i wanted any more, did i mention we like pecans :lau also i think i like doing something with my hands to keep them limber, seems they don't hurt near as much if i keep them moving
got lettuce and lemon grass coming up too, probably will have to take them back to pa before they get ready to do anything with but it keeps me busy while down here and right now we're only one degree warmer than pa, kinda cold for us, and even in the 50's if the winds blowing, its cold to us :idunno

I don't get it. Is it genetic or how they are being raised ? I was never hit as a kid - probably should have been a time or two. Never hit my kids. Once asked why they were basically good. Answer was that they knew that I had the potential to do so. I must admit that during puberty there was a time or two that I could have throttled our beloved daughter.

Puberty is a tough time for kids and parents alike.

But I also don't understand the young ones acting up so much. (Saying that makes me feel so :old )
