I have a female layer with a sinus infection. Been on amoxi, meloxicam for 1 1/2 weeks. Vet lanced and dug out infection, flushed with saline. Sent culture to lab, no results yet. Sinus is still so swollen an irritating. Anyone had this problem?

Welcome to BYC! Lots of peafowl people do experience this. Let me look for a link.

Some people treat with Tylan (tylosin), other people treat with Baytril. Your vet will be able to pick the proper drug once the culture and sensitivity report is done.

If all the pus has been removed, which is something hard to do, I guess one could try something like Amikacin.
