In order to resolve a feeder picking issue and help with molting we are now feeding our 4 ladies with 2/3 layer feed and 1/3 turkey starter feed. All the nutrition facts are the same except the protein 17% vs 26% and the calcium 3.5% vs 1%. Is our ratio ok? The lady at the store says she uses an half and half ratio all year long.
