This is Frida and her egg. Please help.

My guess would be a black australorp.

Australorps have clean legs and single combs. This bird has lightly feathered legs and maybe a pea comb? Its not very clear on my phone. If that was a single comb I would guess Langshan but with a pea comb I think she's a lovely mixed breed hen.

I agree with this. Given the color of the eggs, I'd be okay saying one parent was Marans. The other, no idea...

Hatchery quality Black Australorp--the comb is very poor.
