I'm new to poultry , how to sex goslings?

Your darker gosling is either chinese or african. The lighter gosling may be embden but you will have to wait a bit longer to be sure.
Brown chinese gosling

My ducks in with my geese on the pond. Not sure if you can see better by clicking the picture.


Brown gander


Notice the grey on the wings, and tail thats a young embden.


I will get adult embden pics tomorrow.

Beautiful gosling but still too early I had 2 goslings last year I was posting pics of for months and some said gander some goose turned out to be gander and he was about 8 months old before I knew for sure.Maybe not quite that old for yours but it can take some time. Is there a specific reason your so interested ? Do you have more than this one? There is vent sexing but it isn't that easy and they can be injured if you don't know what your doing.
