What gender is this Splash Maran? (15 weeks old)

This is Splash. It was hatched on 8/1/15 (15 weeks old in these photos). I purchased Maran eggs from a local breeder via Craigslist. What gender do you think it is? I"m leaning towards cockerel because of the leg length. It is not crowing yet. But it has tried to mount some of the chicks close to its age. Thanks in advance for your help. This is as close as I can get to its comb right now...

That's not a Marans. Marans have white skin, and it's dominant over yellow. It does look like a cockerel though. At 15 weeks old, a pullet would just start to be pinking up in the comb.
 
It's definitely a cockerel and given the combination of yellow legs with light feathering on them and the black flecking in the white feathering, I'm thinking it's a mixed breed.
