Nice looking birds Jerry. Another couple to add to the projects. the auto sexing EEs look like an intriguing project.

Klop, Ralphie did not respond to the price inquiry and probably did not notice it? I think Duane Urch gets $3 an egg for his purebred stock?

The sun is finally trying to peak through here, but we had fresh snow yesterday and today. This winter was relatively mild, but it is now dragging on and seemingly not wanting to give up?

Thanks EJB, I did not notice that post from Kloppers I will go looking for it now. Yep 3 bucks, which is reasonable I think. I have a couple that will not hatch but that's life. One has a detached air sac another has a punched mark/crack in the bottom. They are in the 1202 I got from you now! Fingers crossed on them.

I am thinking of making another run to Cabela's in Owatonna and sneaking over for more eggs. I think I want some rose combed Leghorns (brown ones). And maybe some Royal Palm eggs........

I bet if I leave Judy in the Cabalas and tell her I will meet her at the front door in 90 minutes, I could get the eggs and she would never know!

It is always worth a trip to the 'Dead Animal Museum' (that is why my niece calls Cabela's) I was there the other day picking up some shooting hearing protectors that were on a spring deal and I ALMOST walked out of there with a new handgun... very hard not to browse!
 
Ralphie, I am not sure that Judy would fall for that one. Isn't the Cabelas in Rogers closer to you? That would put travel to Owatonna in question?
You can always be straight up with it, and tell Judy that everyone has to have a passion in life. The poultry is a much better choice than John BarleyCorn.

Sage advice! I have not been married very long but I have learned a few lessons already about being up front with my wife. I usually still get some grief about some of the the things I do, but i usually figure out how to win her over :)
