Doing a little planning here for early next year. Are there any hatcheries that have good blue egg laying lines?

I currently have an easter egger and a cream legbar. The easter egger just started laying a pink egg and the legbar has not started laying yet, but I found out last night she indeed did come from meyers.

From what i've gathered through much reading that most legbars that come from hatcheries are laying green eggs, not blue.
I have even thought of doing hatching myself to ensure I get a blue layer, but I'm a little to new to all of this and have no clue what I'm doing. (Lol)

Also, while we are on the subject, how about french copper marans from a hatchery? Anybody have a fbcm from a hatchery who lays those gorgeous dark dark brown eggs???
Thanks everyone in advance!

Meyer hatchery is a fabulous option if you want both blue and chocolate brown eggs, @lancasterflock . I've bought 25 chickens and 6 ducks out of our 38 birds from this wonderful business and had nothing but wonderful experiences with their product. My Meyer Cream Legbar, Arlene, lays a stunning blue egg for our cartons rather than green, so I couldn't be more pleased with her!

Albeit they haven't yet begun laying as of yet, I also have two Ameraucanas from Meyer who will provide us with even more lovely blue eggs. These aren't the typical mislabeled feed store Easter Eggers, either, but true blue Ameraucanas who are simply adorable. Although EEs have been known to lay blue, it seems to be rather uncommon, seeing as most are known for a classic blue-green to mint green. Only one of my 4 lays a pretty blue egg, and the others lay olive, blue-green, and mint, but this doesn't bother me in the least. Who could go without some lovely green eggs in the mix?

My Black Copper Marans from Meyer gives us those impressive dark eggs frequently, living up to her heritage and claim to fame. Of course, there are exceptions out there who don't lay the typical chocolate egg, but it seems that most do. Also, another good option is a Blue Splash Marans for personality, eye candy, and a decently dark egg.

If you have any questions concerning who laid what, I'll be happy to answer!

X2 on Alexandra33; Meyer is the only major hatchery that sells true Ameraucanas (which lay blue eggs) as opposed to Easter Eggers. MyPetChicken sells them as well, but they are not a hatchery as they source their chicks from Meyer. In addition to their Easter Eggers, Meyer breeds and sells Blue Ameraucanas. Meyer also sells Black Copper Marans.
