i need immediate help !!

my chick is very sick.. his head is dropping below.. and eyes closed.. he has become really very thin . i cannot find tetracycline at the local store.. i need immediate help.. what should i give him ???
 
Welcome to BYC. How old is the chick? Is his neck twisted down, or is he just holding it down because he is so weak? Is he eating or drinking, and does he have any diarrhea or blood in his droppings? I would give him water containing electrolytes and vitamins, and try giving him some egg bits to eat along with his feed. In young birds coccidiosis can be very common. The symptoms are diarrhea, lethargy, hunched posture, and not eating. Corid or amprollium is the treatment given in the water.
