So I am nearing the end of my hatch and I have one baby that is on the smaller side and had to be helped out of the shell. At first I thought I broke it out prematurely but there are things that I am noticing now that I couldn't have possibly done. I have read the threads on handling issues with pets hanging from the rear but what concerns me more is there is some kind of balloon looking buldge on its neck off to the side. this guy/gal is a tough one and still breathing after two days. I have been giving a mixture of water cayenne honey and garlic to hopefully give some much needed nutrients. Please let me know if there is anything in additional I can be doing to help this little one.

Unfortunately some are just born weaker/smaller/with problems. You could just continue offering liquid, but very likely its a weak one that's not supposed to make it. I'm sorry, it's so hard to let them go and let nature do "its thing".
