When I got home last night and collected all the eggs laid during the day, I was pleasantly surprised to find 10 eggs! White, blue and brown. I had been averaging 5 - 7 a day, so more of my "little girls" are coming online now!

There were some extenuating circumstances. I got these hens in early September and they needed a little while to settle into their new surroundings. But, their waddles and combs just turned really red within the last couple of weeks or so. Plus, who knows, the woman I got them from could have been wrong about when they were hatched. She told me January.
