So I have four bobwhite quails 2 females and 2 males. They are perfectly fine together in the cage until today. One of the females started burying her face into the bedding and she started to shake. So I took her out and she was shaking in my hands and finally closed her eyes and she has a slow heartbeat and my teacher and I are trying to figure out what happened.

There are so many bird diseases this could be that, short of having the bird seen by a vet, you probably will not find an answer. I hope your quail survived.
