Don't sell yourself short on incubation. I've had chickens off and on since I was a youngster. When I started this flock 3 years ago, I built an incubator. Hatched 5/6 eggs that I got from a gal in town. Added hatchery birds to those 5. Hatching is not all that difficult, if you do your homework. You can start by reading "Hatching eggs 101" in the learning center.
