I'm thinking that we won't find out who Rey's parents are until episode 9. we would probably need that final payoff then.

Kylo needs to stop being so EMO and go full on Darth Vader before he's had his morning coffee.I saw it twice and loved it.
I have a fondness for Kylo but I think because he reminds me of Loki. I think they set him up to be weak in this movie and I think by the next one he will do something truly terrifying. I don't think he can be redeemed from what he did but I do think they have set him up to be a good villain. I also thought the actor was very talented.
Idk...by the end of The Force Awakens, it almost seems obvious who her parents are. I think in the 8th one it is going to start off where the last one left off, with Luke claiming to be Rey's father. Even though I'm glad the movie had some cliff hangers, everyone already knows who Rey's parents are--there's only one major character that she could be related to that actually makes sense.I'm thinking that we won't find out who Rey's parents are until episode 9. we would probably need that final payoff then.

That's a possibility but I really doubt that's the case. I think that BantamLover4Life is likely correct and Luke is Rey's father for the numerous reasons given in the following article (http://www.denofgeek.us/movies/star...0-reasons-why-we-already-know-rey-s-backstory). Also, as has been pointed out in several other articles in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens' computer game, Rey is referred to as Rey Skywalker and when Kylo Ren is dueling with Rey he calls her "cousin." I think the more likely mystery of the new Star Wars' triology is; if Luke is Rey's father, then who is her mother? According to a few reports, Mara Jade will be introduced as Rey's mother, but this may just be pure speculation.I actually think it is possible Han solo and leia could also be Rey's parents. I actually have suspicions that the story will not turn out like we expect, because we've already been surprised a few times!
