Yayy, I will take the Cuckoo Maran. She is a gentle girl.I am looking at this on a phone, but her feather pattern looks more cuckoo than barred. You may has ever a very nice little marans pullet.

Thanks Donrae. Can't wait for her to lay her first egg.I think there's a pretty decent chance she's a Marans pullet. If she were a cross breed, it would be difficult to get that cuckoo pattern with no obvious leakage to pair with the white skin from a barnyard mix type situation.
You'll have a better idea when she starts laying. My hatchery cuckoo Marans don't lay super dark eggs like my breeder black coppers do, but they were definitely darker than my regular brown egg layers (Rocks, sex links, etc). So hopefully she'll contribute toward a nice colorful egg basket
