heres a pic of ones legs

I think that the one in the first photo is a Barred Rock. The other one looks kinda like a Light Brahma without feathered feet. My Edith (R. I. P.), looked kind of like that and she was a Light Brahma. Maybe a Light Sussex? Whatever the breed they are adorable!
Enjoy the peepers!

Meyers did a great job the box had styrofoam insulation bedding and a heat pad . Fingers cross for the next 48 hours

A heat pad? I would not have expected that but I don’t know how you could fault Meyers at all. They did all they could. The timing of that snowstorm was just bad luck.

I’d be disappointed with the loss of three but you are right, concentrate on the living. That’s what is important.

I like that brooder set-up, heat on one end and lots of good ventilation. And it looks like it is in a garage or outbuilding, not in the house. I’m not sure how big it is, they may outgrow it, but you’ll manage that if you need to. I think you will do OK.
Agrees, great brooder!
