Hi Peter and welcome to BYC. I'm sure someone will be along soon to help you out. You could always try posting on your state thread - just enter your state in the search box.

All the best

Welcome to BYC! Glad you joined the flock! I don't have lavender Silkies but I'm sure if you ask in your state thread or typing it in the search bar you might be able to find someone. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Hi Peter, nice to meet you.  Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens.  You could try the silkie threads - the biggest one is simply  "Silkie thread,"  you can post that in the search box and it will come up.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. You have been given some good suggestions by other BYC members. Silkies are a wonderful breed; sweet, calm, gentle, friendly, and funny little birds; great lap pets. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele

Did a moth know that the flame was going to change her life forever, or did she simply fly towards that heated embrace, knowing it would offer her something she couldn't give herself? In the end, the answer didn't really matter. The moth had never wanted the choice. -Joey W. Hill-
