Taming Older Birds

I heard that if you go up to them pick them up and pet them for a minute and set them on the ground and apply little pressure to the pm until they crouch down and then just do that a couple times a day and they should let you pick them up after awhile

If you can't catch them try and keep them in there house while you do it and once you are done with one let them out of there house and or you could sit in there for a bit with them and tell them shhhhh and just talk to them a bit it calms them down

The best way I've found to tame older chickens is: start by standing near them and scattering food around yourself. Don't try to touch them. Just talk to them sweetly and softly. After a couple days of doing that, crouch down while they are eating. Do not touch them but rather just keep speaking gently. After another couple of days or even a week, begin hand feeding them while talking in the same, soothing voice. Eventually, you should be able to touch them while they eat and be able to pick them up with few issues. ALWAYS, speak gently and never frighten them.
