I know I have a rooster? But which one?

Hey all,

I need some help figuring out which bird is a rooster. I know I have one, I can hear him in the morning, and I figured it'd be easy to tell, but I just can't.

Any help determining which is a roo? or is it both?

Thanks

Both of the birds in the foreground of your photos are cockerels. Sorry. :o(

I had a feeling. But at least I'm sure now. Thanks a lot for your help.

Now I have to figure out what to do with them. Any suggestions for what to do with roos? I must have gotten lucky the last time with all hens.

You're welcome. You can always list them on Craigslist. You might also check with your local feed store. They may know of someone who would like to have them. They may even have a bulletin board you can advertise them on. You might also try checking with your local 4h. Some of the students might like to have them. Good luck on re-homing them.

Both are cockerels. Michael OShay gave some good advice on what to possibly do with them.

Feel free to ask me questions about chicken and rabbit care, breeds, and showing! I'm always happy to help!

Both cockerels. Your choices are basically to butcher them or sell/give them away.
