Greetings! I have actually been a fan of the website and forum for a while, and finally decided to join. Actually needing advice on one of my doves encouraged me to finally join.

I am not new to chickens. My parents raised chickens when I was little. A few years ago my partner and I decided that we needed our own flock. We started with 12, then chicken math took over. We currently have 30. Australorps, Silkies, Cochins, easter eggers, Golden Comets. Last summer an elderly neighbor decided he needed to move south and gifted us with 25 bobwhite quail, 6 peach doves and 6 homing pigeons and a parrot. The parrot has been joined by conure and a few parakeets. We have quite the feathered menagerie

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. For some reason only the top line of your post is showing on my screen.( A lot of us were lurkers before joining.) If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Cheers.

Backyard chickens does have threads for doves/pigeons. If you put that in the search box it should pop up. I'm sorry I don't know anything about them but "peach doves," sound beautiful.
