I bought an incubator about 6 months ago for a hatch I did and I was wondering before I hatch again how could I keep it warm without burning out the motor in it as people say the plastic models tend to run more often trying to keep its self warm to the temp set a can send a pic of what it looks like I don't want to be raping a bunch of stuff around it though causing a fire or something though so let me k ow what ideas u have all replies are welcome thanks

I have a similar incubator, just the bigger model (Janoel Jn8-48). It came with styrofoam insulating shields to put around it. If you still have the box this bator came in, check and see if they included any insulation.
I would not have any concerns about wrapping a blanket around the bottom of the incubator. I did that with my Little Giant this year as my room was drafty. The sides of the incubator don't get all that hot. The control panel did get pretty warm, so I would leave that part open. Just make sure to keep the top open, and plenty of ventilation available for the eggs (don't cover up any vent openings)

O wait that's the one I was going to get at first but then I thought well I don't really need something that big so I just got the one that I have and plus after I was going to get that one I watched YouTube videos about it and not many people said they liked it

Keeping it in a warm, temperature stable room will help it work efficiently. You don't want the incubator to be wrapped at all. Those eggs do need some air.

Oops sorry i didn't see this post that's a good idea that's why though I set it behind my tv so the heat coming off my tv keeps it warm behind there and there is another shelf above that has the vcr on and so it keep the heat in there a bit
