Been reading the forum for a few weeks, and we've decided that ducks are the route for us. Will be looking forward to the new adventure! Follow my travels over on the duck forum.

Howdy Texas, Welcome to Backyard chickens. What breeds of ducks do you want to raise? I know nothing about them but, they are fun to watch.
 
Hi and welcome to BYC - glad to have you onboard. You seem to know your way around the site already which is good. If you search your state thread, you may find other duck keepers in your locality, which could be useful.

Welcome! I am new to BYC, live in Texas, and want ducks too. We are starting with chickens and the ducks will come next. I knew more about chickens so I just felt more ready to start there. We would like to have a few Ancona ducks. I didn't know there was a duck forum so I will have to check that out.
