In the Brooder
Hello All!
My name is Jacquie. I own a small property in the country side in southwestern ontario
Over the last year I have acquired and purchased a few chickens.
I started with a bantam rooster and Red hen, unfortunately I lost my beloved rooster Doodles to a hawk and now my first hen Hattie is quite sick.
I also bought three other Red's and a fluffy white rooster and small white hen ( I dont know the breeds).
The small group are free range and are an incredibly fun animal to have at our place. They are nosey, love being wherever the action is and always make us laugh. I had no idea how each chicken can have such a distinct personality!
I am happy to be on this site, I have SO much to learn and look forward to being part of the chicken family.
