Hello, my name is Brandy, and I am new to backyard chickens, but I have raised chicken my entire life.
I am excited to learn new stuff about chicken, especially the possible complications, because as a kid I never has a chicken get sick or let alone die, unless a predator was to blame. However, I recently had to cull my flock of 3 hens due to an unknown disease. I have restarted my flock and now have y chicks that are thriving. I live in the high desert n apple valley CA, and I am a registered nursing major at Victor Valley college, and am transferring to Loma Linda University in the fall.
