Is there such thing as an albino ringneck dove?

Yes. your chick is an albino. White ring neck doves are not unusual, but if this is your pair's first, it would be an unusual event for them.

Id say this is their forth laying and brooding event. The first babies were one light and one dark. The second was two darks then a single lighter but not albino. This is their first albino baby. I guess my parent pair are albino mixes in order for them to have a pure albino baby. How fun. I hope it does well and survives to reproduce.

I just read that both the albino and white squabs have pink eyes until about three weeks old when the white's eyes will turn grey. I will wait to know for certain if it is a true albino. This little one is just over a week old.

Looks like an albino to me.

I love albino animals.. and had quite a collection before... I think they are very beautiful.

I used to work in a pet shop and often ended up taking home albino animals as many people don't like the red eyes so they did not get sold.

I remember I had albino..

Hamster
Mice
Rats
Rabbit
Guinea pigs
Parakeets
Cockatiel
Tropical fish
Snakes
Axolotl (salamander)

And now I have a albino turtle!

I have ring neck doves now too.. but they never had an albino baby... I am jealous of you!

Years ago I used to work in a zoo.. and they kept albino wallabies where were very cute.
