Hello from Canada,

We bought a farm a couple years back. Been keeping chickens for a while now, just a handful of Chantecler. This year we've decided to expand the flock to a few other heritage breeds. Some we have ordered from local breeders and others we will be hatching ourselves. In total 15 different heritage breeds. It's going to be an interesting learning and growing summer. Been working in the barn for a while trying to get set-up. As well as the outdoor area for them to scavenge at!!
Looks like this site will be a great reference.
Cheers Ken from Canada

I think you would be interested in posting on the "Canadians, check-in-here," thread. I know Chants were bred to handle the weather, they are lovely birds.
