Hi we found a baby chicken, we looked all around the neighborhood for his momma but she is no where to be found. he is very small and we dont know what to feed him.

rub two pieces of bread together to make breadcrumbs and let the chick eat or not as it pleases. You can 'tell it' that the bread is food by tapping your finger on the crumbs as if your finger was a chooks beak.
Later, you might ask anyone you know who has chooks if they raise chicks, if they do, you could mention your find and the problem and they'd no doubt give you a cup or can full of food just for the asking. That would be easily enough for one chick to grow up to a size where it can eat whole wheat grains and kitchen scraps.
It might be lonely by itself, and not learn how to socialise with other chickens ( it might not think it is a chicken ) so another chick or a few might help prevent it going feral and breaking into cars which it might do if it thinks it is a human youngster rather than a chicken youngster, but either way it'll still grow feathers, they never seem to forget that regardless of what animal raises them.

Also when you stick him in the place you're keeping him in, dip his beak in water so he knows where to find it. Have a light or heat pad or something to keep it at 85-95 degrees F, for the first two weeks at least. Last thing Give him some corn-meal and then order some chick starter. Good Luck on the chick!!!!!!!!!

I mention bread crumbs because pretty much everyone can do that and the chick will be fine with it until you can get more. I don't know what cornmeal is, is it also called cornflour ? Possible not everyone knows what it is called in their part of the world.
Just about anything that you can eat yourself you can put into a blender and chop until it is about 1 to 2 mm in size. The chick can eat that until you get a bag of something. Cannot think of any food this does not apply to. Possibly cappuccino ?
Once you have bought something, I would still recommend that you blend your food scraps and give it to the chicken now and then. One kind of food makes you want to shoot yourself, like being trapped in a fast food diet.

The other thing I used to do was to smash seeds with a hammer on concrete. I recall a lot of time spent spreading wheat grains onto a concrete culvert and tapping them, like pecking, with a hammer. The chicks would almost get in the way of the hammer sometimes, but never injured.
I think I would opt for boiled or scrambled eggs instead of bread crumbs or cornmeal/cornflour. Definitely would be much more appropriate nutritionally. Also, keep in mind, that if you have to chew whatever you're feeding, so will the chick, so you'll have to add grit to the brooder. Squishy things like eggs, chicks starter (not squishy, but doesn't require "chewing"), bananas, ECT can be fed with out. Corn, hard fruits and veggies, meats, ECT, chick will require a source of grit.

Keep him warm, too!
A stuffed animal will help keep him company if you place it inside his brooder. If you don't have a stuffed animal, he may enjoy snuggling with a soft (clean!) sock. I've done this before, as silly as it sounds.
Chickens really need company, perhaps you could look into getting a friend for him?
Also, I'm not sure if you have any feed stores around where you are, but you should pick him up some chick starter.
