Hi we found a baby chicken, we looked all around the neighborhood for his momma but she is no where to be found. he is very small and we dont know what to feed him.

I think I would opt for boiled or scrambled eggs instead of bread crumbs or cornmeal/cornflour. Definitely would be much more appropriate nutritionally. Also, keep in mind, that if you have to chew whatever you're feeding, so will the chick, so you'll have to add grit to the brooder. Squishy things like eggs, chicks starter (not squishy, but doesn't require "chewing"), bananas, ECT can be fed with out. Corn, hard fruits and veggies, meats, ECT, chick will require a source of grit.
