So here is a couple pictures taken at 7 weeks(They're 8 weeks now) of one of my barnyard mixes named Bellatrix. For one, her comb is definitely more prominent than her siblings. However her crown is the same color as the rest. Also her ankles seem to be thicker than her sisters(I heard roos have thicker legs somewhere). I'm really hoping its just because the breeds she's mixed with is a little different. Out of all of my 4 barnyard mixes(which all look a little different from each other) this is the possible breeds of parent combinations, Roos: New Hampshire Red or Silver Laced Wyandotte. Hens: Silver or Gold Laced Wyandottes, RIR, Black Star, Easter Egger, Aruacana, Lavender Orpington, Blue Swedish Flower

So what do you all think, Roo or Hen?

Pullet for now.
Father was the Rhode Island Red, not the Silver Laced Wyandotte (the rose comb and silver color are dominant genes). I doubt that the Lavender Orpington was one of the mothers, they breed like a solid black when crossed.

I think it's too soon to tell. But to me, I think it looks more like a rooster. Maybe you will be able to tell for certain in a couple of Months.
