My five month old buff brahma has a tiny yellow growth in the corner of her eye. Just noticed it today. I will keep an eye on it to see if it grows. Should I just let it be or try getting it off and how?

can you post a pic of it?
I dont really know what it could be however, i think the people who would know what it could be it would be helpful if there was a pic. :)

Hope you find out what it is,

Here is a shot of our Wyandotte rooster this AM. Maybe it's similar. Feed shop gave us meds for eyeworm, but we aren't convinced yet. It is attached to his 3rd eyelid, and other than it blocking his vision, he doesn't seem too bothered. Maybe this will help identify yours as well.

The yellow dot looks like it could be similar, although it's on the back end of her eye, as opposed to our roosters being on his 3rd eyelid. Have you noticed any swelling, or has she been scratching it?

It doesn't seem to bother her at all. Hasn't swelled up. She is not scratching it. I am keeping an eye on it to see if it grows

Not to say it's the same situation, but the yellow dot on our roosters eye has hardly changed shape in the last week. It seems more like a stye than anything else. We tried to wipe it with a qtip (thank God he is a friendly bird) but it seemed very hard, and solidly attached. We've still been asking around, and hope you do too. It's hard to find identifying info on this one.

The yellow thing has not grown and it doesn't seem to bother her so far. She fell asleep on my lap this morning and when her eye is closed, the growth isn't even noticeable. Still haven't come across anyone who has had a chicken with the same thing in her eye

Hopefully you've resolved your issue, but either way I thought I'd share our roosters state now, two weeks later. After having used vetrx in his mouth and also around his eye, there wasn't a noticeable difference. 1 week into the ordeal, we received rooster booster feed which we mixed with some oatmeal and bananas to get him to eat it. We used vetrx and the rooster booster for another 5 days and then.... no more eye issues! That same day we received our valbazen, so we decided to apply it directly just to be Sure it wasn't an eyeworm. We also let him take a sip. Now another week later, he looks good as new.

I can't say I'd recommend this process, and it may not have gone down the same way if it was one of our laying hens, but this worked out great apparently.
