Hey Chad
Clever idea to use chain to raise the pad up as they grow. I may use that on my MHP, haven't put it together yet but since I am putting it in a dog crate, chains or rope would work well for when they get a bit taller.
Thanks

Thank you for the picture!  Just what I needed. I was just looking at Amazon and thought, I need to go back to BYC and see if I can find the link to the heating pad and make sure this is the correct one!

Careful you order the right model. A lot of them have auto-off and it's not necessarily possible to disable it.

I bought the Sunbeam 756-500. Discontinued but they still have some. No auto-off, simple slide switch with 3 temps. $13. It was replaced by the 731-500. That one is identical but comes with a sponge to wet for "moist heat" (which you won't be using). Also $13. A few people have complained about getting a different model that has auto-off. It's the 720-610. It was unclear to me whether these folks ordered from Amazon or a marketplace seller so I just went with the discontinued model.
