The overall messiness of the pattern and the incomplete lacing. Hatcheries don't breed to meet breed standard. They breed for production above all else, often breeding in Leghorns to increase the lay rate. That's one big reason why, even though they breed SO many birds, the quality never improves, but actually declines over the years.

Just do a quick google search for Silver Laced Wyandottes, and you will see the difference between a bird with good, crisp lacing and your little guy.
