I am a first time chicken mom! I have 3 Rock barred chicks, they are 5 days old. I am a nervous wreck about theses little ones!! Hopefully this forum will help ease my mind and give me some guidance!

Glad you could join the flock! Congratulations on your new chicks :clap They sure can be nerve wracking when you first get started but I'm sure you will do a fanatics job with them. I know how you feel, I was a nervous mom when I got mine.

Make sure to check daily for pasty butts, they are more common than I would have expected.

The previous greeters have given you some good advice...the only thing I would add is to take lots of pictures now, chicks grow up fast!
