Hi everyone so excited to have finally joined your BYC group, I'm from Australia and own a bit if a mixed bag of chooks including Dorkings, sussex and some I have no idea on

G'day then. Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens. If you post photos of your chooks at "what breed or gender is this," you will get many responses. BYC has a large Aussie community, the bigger the better. Also "Australia, six states and one funny little island." thread if you want to know what is going on around you. Otherwise feel free to partake in any forums or threads.

If you are new to chickens, a great start is "The Learning Center,"
 
Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us. As DD says, your country thread is very active so joining it would be good. Members here have lots of varied interests and there are threads on anything from keeping goats to baking so please make yourself at home and join in.
