can pigeons can hatch a chicken egg
what is your advise

They can hatch any small egg.

My kings hatch out 2 bantam chicken eggs each pair.

But you have to take the chicken chicks away as soon as they are dried out... and put them in a brooder.. because the parents pigeons can't look after chicken chicks.

I've got two domestic wild pigeons sitting on a duck egg... It was preincubated in the bator for 8 days. When I had to take the pigeons eggs away (2 females paired up), I gave them a small duck egg! They're quite happy!

I think if the egg is fertile it stands a good chance in hatching.

Crazier things have happened. I once had a mother hen hatch a goose egg. Things were going well until the gosling decided to take a dip in the spring I have running in the back yard which fills a small puddle that it created. I though my broody hen was going to have a heart attack.

I've seen them hatch a large hen egg before, and groups of quail eggs. They freak trying to chase the chick/s down to feed n sit on, but eventually they n chicks figured systems out (the doves just eventually puke up for the chicks even though chicks don't need it).
