Howdy folks,

Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone here at BYC. My family and I are located in eastern Ontario, Canada about an hour south of Ottawa. We have never raised chickens before, but we have day olds arriving the end of April. We have built are coop and are slowly but surely getting things ready, but we still have lots of questions. Looking forward to tapping into all of your experiences here and learning all about the world of backyard chickens!

Out of curiosity, if any of you are located around our area, it would be great to know some folks in the same climate, region, etc.who are also raising chickens.

Dennis, great to know there are some folks close by. We are brand new at this and our day old chicks arrive April 21/22. Hopefully we can share experiences and help each other out.
