Hello! First timer here :) We just got 6 little feather babies and we have designed and are in the process of building an awesome coop and a decent size run. My question: what do you line your run with???
We're doing a half wood covered/half fence covered run.
Thanks in advance!
 
Most people allow their run to be dirt floor with a deep litter on top. This is because it is easier to clean, stays nicer, and chickens like having access to dirt.
They bury hardware cloth about six inches around the run to prevent predators from digging under run and line the first 3 feet with hardware cloth around run.
