When I joined Backyard Chickens, I was trying to learn all I could about the guinea fowl we hope to have when we move to a different home with more land. Then we lost our minds and ordered a bunch of baby chicks because we were tired of waiting for our country life to begin! We currently have 6 speckled Sussex, they are about a week old now, and they are the cutest things on earth! We have a friend who is willing to make a trade on two for others that we would also really enjoy, but I don't think I can pick, we love them all! Really enjoying the community and answers to questions!
