I was just watching my chicken that is currently separated from the others because of feather picking and she just did the strangest thing. I have 4 chickens, they are all 2 years old and I've had them since they were a week old, and I've never seen this behavior. She just kind of stood up straight, her neck feathers went up, and she flapped her wings for a few seconds. She stopped for a few seconds and did this two more times. Now I've seen them flapping their wings and all and I know that it's normal but I've never seen any chicken do it this way, it was so weird. 3 times in a row? plus standing up so straight like that and the neck feathers all out, it was really strange. Has this happened to anyone? She is eating and pooping and laying fine. She's out pecking about now. I just want to make sure this is not the start of some weird disease or something...thank you in advance for your replies.

Nope, not the start or some weird disease - fairly normal chicken behavior - probably being exhibited because of stress and anxiety of separation.
