Feed requirments?

Quail eggs are designed to have a 6-14 ounce bird set on them, the smallest chicken is many times that. Most of the eggs will probably be cracked or broken. The other problems is the chicks are very tiny and will get stepped on and crushed by the bigger birds. Multiple people have tried it with very little luck. I hope yours fare better. Invest in an incubator and raise your quail by themselves.
 
She done great so far she extremely gentle one out of twelve have been damaged. As soon as they hatch we planning on moving them from her nest and her to a safer spot for everyone. And if need seperate her from them but thats the last thing we want to do.
