Ameraucana vs Easter egger

So about 4 weeks ago I purchased 4 ameraucana chicks. In the past I have purchased so called "Ameraucana" but they all turned out to be Easter eggers. So I'm wondering whether these are legit or not?

They're perfectly legitimate Easter eggers. Great backyard birds, come in lots of colors, lay a variety of egg shades.

They're not Ameraucana. If you want pure bred Ameraucana, you need to decide what color variety you want and find a breeder or one of the select few hatcheries that sell pure bred birds.

Ok thanks. It just makes me mad that they lie to their customers because I was planning on showing them in 4H and I even told them that :/
