They are officially out for good! Its chilly today, about 40..tonight in the 30s. Heat in the coop brings temp up to 60s with yhe pop door open and 70s with it closed. The silly birds are digging in the covered run and trying to eat some snow alomg the edges lol...they go in to eat and warm up then out again to play. As ready as i was to get them oit (they were getting big for their brooder) im a little sad to see them gone lol. Theyve been taking day trips outside to tge run and coop for about a week and have been without supplemental heat in the house since 2 weeks old. Jyst about fully feathered so i dont expect theyll need heat out there long..especially where temps will be warming up for good soon too. Just sharing my big news lol
