I noticed yesterday that one of my hens is acting a bit strange. She waddles a bit and her abdomen feels bloated but I haven't felt any egg lump. Perhaps I haven't felt enough. She eats and drinks but acts a little slow. She doesn't exactly stand like a penguin. I had a video file to upload but there doesn't seem to be an option. In the video she is sitting down and her tail/cushion seems to pulse up and down. I don't think her abdomen pulsates though.

Will she sometimes randomly squat and push like she is trying to lay an egg? And is her vent all gross(i.e. kind of swollen and poop leaking out and all over her feathers below her vent?) I had a hen get egg bound 3 times in one year and she would walk around outside and waddle like a penguin and occasionally would stop and push like she was trying to lay the egg but couldn't. Her abdomen was swollen and her vent and feathers near her vent were all gross, and I couldn't see the egg unless she was pushing, then I could see the very top of it. She would stand like yours was in the two bottom pictures, with her head tucked against her breast and with her eyes closed.

She doesn't seem to squat. Her vent seems to look normal compared to the other. The feathers around her vent were already a bit poopy so I wouldn't be able to tell. She doesn't stand erect like a penguin. I felt her abdomen and couldn't feel an egg. Her abdomen was squishy. I also thinking she has something else going on because I read that egg bound hens have firm abdomens.
