I just had a friend give me a young big stock rooster.
I saw the daddy of him and he looked like a Black Jersey Giant. He said that the hen was black as well.
This rooster is white with some black mixed in. His chest has irregular barring or penciling and his tail is long and black with the having the effect of reflective coloring(I can't for the life of me think of the actual word). He is big but still growing I assume because ole dad still has him beat pretty bad on size. I'm guessing that this rooster probably weighs between 10 to 12 lbs already. He's just around a year old.
I have scoured the web looking at pictures of roosters he looks sort of like a Jersey Giant Splash but also strongly resembles a black sexlink.
Can anyone tell me what it actually is? Thanks in advance.
