How old are they? I can't see any that are screaming cockerel yet.

6 weeks, they aren't very good pics
I think it is safe to say they are pullets for now. I would post again in a week or two to confirm.

how can you tell? Should I take up close pics of anything specific
From the pictures I can't see any very red combs nor big ones, but if you want to take pictures from there side of them standing individually.
